Thread Summary

rexx asked about the number of parks/cities with sculptures by Mark di Suvero in the early 1980s. NYCNative shared a link for research, and phrabbott joked about using lmgtfy.com for searches. They mentioned Milwaukee having several sculptures by di Suvero. The discussion touched on the Socrates sculpture garden in NYC starting later, with earlier exhibits being temporary. Byron's sensitivity to such matters was also mentioned. The conversation was light-hearted with a focus on the locations of di Suvero's sculptures in the early 1980s.

Damnnnn. harsh NYC. It’s funnier if you use https://lmgtfy.com/ That being said, after a cursory look, I’m going with not many. Milwaukee has a surprising amount, but I’m guessing you knew that? Socrates sculpture garden in NYC didn’t start until later, and anything before that seems to have been temporary exhibits. I certainly hope Byron was sensitive to that kind of thing.
